The world premiere of Sten Hostfalts microtonal orchestral work DIMENSIONAL STATES for thirteen musicians and two dancers, directed
by Sten Hostfalt, took place March 13 2014 at ShapeShifter Lab Brooklyn NY and through a longtime membership of an international
professional creative musicians and artists network utilized some of the foremost and most innovative music and dance improvisers
of our time. Composed as a 2-set event with the first half featuring Hostfalt originals performed by the Sten Hostfalt Trio comprised
of Shayna Dulberger on bass, Dave Miller-drums and Sten Hostfalt on guitar, and the second half, a 13-piece + 2 dancers lineup.

June 19th same year, the work was performed again, sans dancers, without the trio part and in a somewhat condensed
orchestral format, a ten-piece lineup in which Sten Hostfalt this time both directed and participated as a guitar soloist.
